Thiago Mazza was born in 1984 in Belo Horizonte (Brazil). He graduated in Graphic Design from the State University of Minas Gerais. He is self-taught in painting, came across graffiti and later began to paint on large-format walls.

Mazza is one of the main contemporary Brazilian muralists and has participated in important urban art festivals such as UpFest (UK), Stenograffia (Russia), Artscape (Sweden), Vukovart (Croatia), IPAF (Mexico) and CURA (Brazil). His work engages in dialogue with classical painting, street art and contemporary art. He is well-known in the street art scene for his mastery in depicting nature, especially tropical flora and fauna. Current subjects of his research include tropical plants with exuberant structure and dense foliage. Thiago Mazza carries nature within him, and has the ability to transmute it into art to immerse the viewer in it.
