Sabek is a Madrid-based artist, who was born in 1985. He began to shape his style by working on streets and abandoned places in the outskirts of the capital. Later he began to produce more graphic pieces and experiment with different techniques. His work reflects on human beings and their relationship with nature. His style features the use of shapes and colours that allude to natural origins, and he portrays mighty and powerful animals that command respect.
His work is displayed on monumental walls and in art galleries all over the world (USA, France, Spain, Malaysia, Russia and New Zealand). Sabek subtly mixes shadows and masses of flat colours and lets them coexist with the most refined details. Whether animal, plant or human, his shapes are an allegory of natural balance and his own energy. He creates rather than reflects reality in his compositions, which do not seek to assign a logic to the meaning of the symbol.
